SOLUTION: This device is provided with an own vehicle position detecting means 1 for detecting the traveling position of own vehicle, a map information storing means 2 for storing map information regarding at least a point where a high load is applied on an automobile engine, a first heat quantity calculating means 4A for calculating the quantity of heat entering the room of the own vehicle at the high load point stored in the map information storing means, a second heat quantity calculating means 4B for calculating the load fluctuation amount of the automobile engine when the own vehicle passes the high load point and then calculating the cooling heat quantity of a cooling cycle equivalent to the load fluctuation amount, and an air conditioner control means 7 for starting control of an air conditioning condition in the room before reaching the high load point so as to compensate for a heat quantity obtained by subtracting the entering heat quantity obtained by the first heat quantity calculating means from the cooling heat quantity obtained by the second heat quantity calculating means when the cooling heat quantity of the cooling cycle calculated by the second heat quantity calculating means is equal to a specified value or lower.
