PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a decorative panel allowing easy repair of a fastened part and preventing a repaired part from becoming a defect with respect to design when the decorative panel finished at a factory is fastened by using a tightening means such as a screw, nail, etc., at construction site. SOLUTION: A decorative panel 1 in which a waterproof decorative coated film layer 2 is formed on a surface of a basic material in advance and a waterproof simple coated film layer 3 is formed in a groove 4 provided in an intermediate part of the surface thereof in advance is prepared, tightening means 5 such as a screw, nail or the equivalent means are fastened in the groove 4 to attach the decorative panel 1, and a waterproof simple coated film layer 3 is newly formed in the fastened part. Consequently, the fastened part of the tightening devices which occurs at construction site can be repaired easily, a sense of incongruity with respect to design does not occur, and well-controlled design, sometimes forceful, sometimes restrained, is obtained due to the contrast between the surface and the groove part.
