PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly detect an microorganism belonging to the genus Trichosporon to a species level in high accuracy to utilize the result for diagnosis and treatment of Trichosporon-infectious disease by detecting a specified polynucleotide specific to the species of the microorganism belonging to the genus Trichosporon. SOLUTION: A microorganism belonging to the genus Trichosporon is species- specifically detected, for example, in the detection of Trichosporon asahii, by detecting a polynucleotide which (i) is the one capable of specifically hybridizing with the polynucleotide of the Trichosporon asahii, and (ii) has a base sequence agreeing with the base sequences of plural continue nucleotides, or a base sequence complementary thereto and present in base sequences of formulas I to III, in a test sample. |
