<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insect pest controller having a high control property against insect pests, high safety for man and livestock, and not affecting environments. SOLUTION: This insect pest controller contains at least one kind of plant selected from the plants of genuses: Geranium, Morus, Artemisia, Diospyros, Crataegus, Curcuma, Rubia, Polygonum, Chrysanthemum, Gardenia, Cornus, Uncaria, Rheum, Syzygium, Terminalia and Saussurea, and its extract or effusion. The extract may be obtained by an extraction using water and/or a hydrophilic solvent. The insect pest controller has a strong controlling action against sanitary insect pests and house insect pests, especially wood insect pests such as termites.</p> |
