<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize ionization efficiency of dust, by arranging a number of disk-shaped corona discharge electrodes in the direction of free movement, while minimizing the disturbance of the free movement caused by the disk- shaped discharge electrodes, to repeatedly ionize dust particles. SOLUTION: Disk-shaped corona discharge electrodes 2 are disposed in a pipe so as to be easily attached without the necessity for adding an installation space to a dust inflow port of an existing filtration cloth dust collector. The disk-shaped corona discharge electrodes 2 leave a constant space from a cylindrical grounding electrode 3 to them to form a uniform electric field, thereby the current density can be increased even when consuming electric power at low level. Moreover, a number of disk-shaped corona discharge electrodes 2 are arranged in the direction of free movement, while minimizing the disturbance of the free movement caused by disk-shaped discharge electrodes, to repeatedly ionize dust particles. As a result, the ionization efficiency of the dust can be maximized to extend the life of filtration cloth.</p> |
