PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition device for a vehicle to simplify structure, in a voice recognition device for a vehicle having a remote controller. SOLUTION: A voice recognition device 11 for a vehicle is provided with a remote controller 12, and a device body 13. The device body 13 consists of a microphone 19, a command key 20, and body ECU 21. The remote controller 12 comprises a data input means 16 consisting of a remote microphone 14 and a remote command key 15; a remote ECU 17; and a speaker 18. The remote ECU 17 generates an ultrasonic command based on a voice signal detected from the remote microphone 14 and command data inputted from the remote command key 15. The ultrasonic command converted and processed in a manner described above is outputted from the speaker 18. Namely, data inputted to the remote controller 12 is outputted to the device body 13 as an acoustic wave.
