TANDEM AXLE SUSPENSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the starting performance of a vehicle in an empty state or a light load state regarding a tandem axle suspension device suitably used for a large vehicle such as a bus and a truck. SOLUTION: This suspension device is provided between a car body frame 4 and a pair of tandem axles composed of a drive shaft 1 and a non-drive shaft 2. In this case, the device is provided with an elastic member 7 for pressing at least the drive shaft 1 and the non-drive shaft 2 downward. Setting is made beforehand such that the pressing force of the elastic member 7 acted on the drive shaft 1 is larger than that of the same acted on the non-drive shaft 2.
