PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a lifetime of a doctor blade. SOLUTION: A blade body 14 having both ends of a strip plate made of a high strength steel material as cutting edges is formed to be reversibly mounted at a doctor holder 16. The body 14 is formed in a uniform thickness equal to a thickness of the edge of both the ends. With the constitution, the body 14 is reversibly mounted at the holder. Thus, the doctor blade 10 can be used for a long period of several times as large as conventional one by cutting a wearing area.
