SOLUTION: The device includes a gear holding mechanism 16 for holding a gear 12 in a chamber 14a, a projecting mechanism 24 for projecting a jet 22 consisting of a water 18 and glass beads 20 toward the gear 12, a collecting mechanism 26 for sucking powder debris 20a produced by the glass beads 20 crushed on the surface of the gear 12 and collecting it together with drainage, a sorting mechanism 28 for sorting the collected drainage into the water 18 and the powder debris 20a, a powder debris storage 31 for storing the sorted powder debris 20a, and a discharge mechanism 33 for forcibly discharging the powder debris 20a floating in the powder debris storage 31.
