PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incising method and incising mechanism whose incising speed is sped up. SOLUTION: This incising mechanism 1 is provided with two pneumatic actuators 14 which push down one incising part 12 and a controller 15 which controls the pneumatic actuators 14 respectively. One actuator 14 is extended before a time T when the other actuator 14 is able to extend again after extending at a time zero with the controller 15. Also, the incising part 12 is pushed down with only one actuator 14 to incise a point onto an object to be incised. Therefore, the point is incised onto the object to be incised with the incising mechanism 1 at a shorter interval than the time T that is the shortest incising interval in a conventional example. Moreover, a structure wherein three to four pneumatic actuators 14 are provided in one incising part 12 is practically preferable from a good balance between size and speed.
