摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a preliminary adjustment operation before a barley grading operation by adjusting an expansion adjustment means to expand the roll clearance of a husking roll and adjusting a swing revolution number control means to increase the number of swing revolution by a prescribed revolution number in comparison with an operation for rice hulling, in relation to detection of whether operating grain kind is barley or to setting of grain kind. SOLUTION: Grain detecting information is fetched into a control part from a grain kind judging sensor 44 installed in a paddy hopper, and is compared with a rice hull/barley discrimination reference value to judge whether supplying grain is barley or not. When it is judged that the grain is barley, a roll clearance expansion adjustment instruction for a husking roll is given to adjust the roll clearance to be expanded. Next, the number of swing revolution is detected by a swing revolution number detecting sensor 45 and is increased by a prescribed revolution number so as to adjust it for barley grading, and barley grading operation is started after stopping the revolution number increase adjustment and manually or automatically adjusting a paddy supply control valve to be opened. As a result, the barley sorting can be effectively carried out.
