PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide glass exhibiting long afterglow and accelerated phosphorescence, storing energy by the excitation withγ-rays, X-rays, ultraviolet rays, etc., continuing the emission of light for a long time after stopping the excitation and usable as a light-accumulation material for illumination, sign, etc. at night. SOLUTION: The objective glass is a composition composed of 20-45 mol.% of Al2O3, 45-70 mol.% of CaO, 0.01-5 mol.% of Tb2O3, 0-20 mol.% of MgO, 0-20 mol.% of BaO, 0-10 mol.% of SiO2 and 0-8 mol.% of Ln2O3 (Ln is one or more kinds of atoms selected from Yb, Y, La, Gd, Lu, Sm, Dy, Tm and Pr).
