PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method based on a casting method of a two- layer nickel base alloy clad steel plate excellent in the detachment of both core materials and stickiness between the core material and a clad material. SOLUTION: On the outer surface of core materials 1, 2 piling the nickel base alloy plates having 60-80 wt.% nickel content through a releasing agent 3, an iron-made surrounding plate 4 having 0.001-0.003 wt.% carbon content and X mm sheet thickness, is welded and antioxidant is applied. Thereafter, molten clad steel is cast to make the clad steel ingot so as to satisfy the conditions of V>=0.15-0.005X forΔT<=40 deg.C and V>=(0.15-0.005X)+(0.02395-1.65×103×T2)(ΔT-40) forΔT>40 deg.C, in the case T2 denotes the m.p. of the core material,ΔT the difference between the casting temp. and the liquidus temp. and V the rising speed of the molten steel surface in the mold. After applying blooming rolling and thick plate rolling in the total rolling reduction ratio of 6-20, this clad steel plate is reheard at 1100-1250 deg.C, cooled at >=60 deg.C/min speed and the non-clad portion is removed and two pieces of core materials 1, 2 are peeled off to make two-layer nickel base alloy clad steel plate.
