<p>A container, suitable for pourable fluids such as beverages, has a closure 16 which is rotated relative to the container for opening and an outer foil cover 19, the foil cover extending beyond the edge of the closure to lie against the container wall and the closure having one or more projections 20 that puncture or weaken the foil cover on rotation of the closure. The projections preferably provide a serrated edge of castellated shape (figure 4). The closure may fit directly on the container neck or on an adapter 14 fastened on the neck. The closure may engage the neck/adapter by screw threads or by way of cooperating cam surfaces. <IMAGE></p> |
