<p>The inhalation device for inhaling a pulverulent, pharmacologically active medicament consists of a storage container (3) for the medicament (4), a manually activated dosing arrangement for preparing a separated quantity of inhalation substance which is taken up by the air current aspirated upon inhalation and is swirled, an air inlet channel (9), a swirl chamber (W), and a connection channel (8) between the swirl chamber (W) and the dosing arrangement, and with a mouthpiece channel leading out from the swirl chamber (W). The dosing arrangement in this case consists of a dosing drum (D) which has in its interior (5) a storage container (3) for the medicament. Furthermore, the air inlet channel (9) and the connection channel (8) are arranged in such a way that they run towards each other in a V shape. Thus, whenever a dosing procedure is carried out, a separated quantity of inhalation substance is made ready in a dome shape at the apex of the two air channels (8) and (9) running towards each other in a V shape. <IMAGE></p> |
