PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming apparatus capable of corresponding to load variation of fuel cell in good responsiveness and effectively simplify the constitution. SOLUTION: This reformer 26 is equipped with a reforming chamber 36 in which a reforming catalyst layer 38 is arranged and a combustion mechanism 44 for starting for carrying out combustion in a combustion chamber 46 communicating with the reforming chamber 36 and directly feeding combustion gas for heating to the reforming catalyst layer 38 in starting. The combustion mechanism 44 is equipped with an injector 48 capable of feeding fuel for reforming atomized in the reforming chamber 36. |
