PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide destroyed debris-sorting and recovering apparatus capable of successively and continuously sorting finely pulverized destroyed debris of wood construction into woody debris and foreign debris besides woody debris and recovering them. SOLUTION: This sorting and recovering apparatus comprises a cylindrical and transversely laid sorting drum 2 capable of storing water in the lower half part. The sorting drum 2 is journalled with a driving roller 15 to rotate on its own axis and is provided with a circular inlet 4 with a large diameter and a circular outlet 5 with a small diameter formed in a side plate and a water supply pipe installed in the circular outlet 5 side. Further, stirring and transferring blades 6, which are unit blades 9 uprightly installed along a spiral line 8, and a bucket part 7 are installed in the inner circumference of the sorting drum 2. Destroyed debris 20 thrown through the circular inlet 4 is stirred and successively transferred and separated into woody debris 21 and foreign debris 22. The woody debris 21 is floated on flowing water generated on the surface of stored water 19 and discharged out of the circular inlet 4 and the foreign debris 22 is scooped by the bucket part 7 and successively and automatically discharged out of the circular outlet 5.
