PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deciding method of the ejecting time from a heating furnace capable of shortening a calculation processing time and also, reducing the deviation from the actual operation. SOLUTION: The deciding method of the ejecting time from the heating furnace is executed by obtaining the ejecting time interval for ejecting a material to be heated under constraining condition of hot-rolling from the heating furnace to decide each ejecting time of the material to be subjected to the hot-rolling based on the obtd. ejecting time interval. On the other hand, the necessary heating time of the material to be heated under constraining condition of the heating is obtd. and in the case that this necessary heating time exceeds the furnace residence time corresponding to the ejecting time, the ejecting time of the material to be heated from the heating furnace is corrected according to the difference. In such a case, a regression equation is beforehand generated from the estimated temp. of the material to be heated in the heating furnace at the present, the ejecting target temp. and the actual value of the necessary heating time, and the necessary heating time is obtd. by using this regression equation.
