PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upsetting means completely eliminating the occurrence of leakage of an oil mist and an exhaust noise. SOLUTION: The upsetting machine is provided with a punch and a die to integrally join laminated steel thin sheets, an electric motor is used for a drive source. By transmitting the power of the electric motor through a crank mechanism 30 and a toggle link mechanism 40, pressure is applied to the punch.
