<p>The derivatives of 3-brom- and 3,3-dibrom-4-oxo-1-azetidines are produced by the reaction between derivatives of 2-sulphinic acid, preferably 2-substituted sulphanamides of 4-oxo-azetadines and different halogenizing agents. After the treatment of the reaction mixture, the 2-halogen derivatives of 3-brom and 3,3-dibrom-4-oxo-azetidines are isolated and are subjected to interaction with silver tetrafluoroborate and alcohols in order to produce the respective 2-alkoxyderivatives of 3-brom- and 3,3-dibrom-4-oxo-azetidines, or 2-halogen derivatives of 3-brom- and 3,3-dibrom-4-oxo azetidines are subjected to reaction with silver nitrate in 2-propanol in order to produce, after the treatment of the reaction mixture, 2-nitroderivatives of 3-brom and 3,3-dibrom-4-oxo-1-azetidines. Some of the newly produced compounds are not protected and derivatives with a free carboxyl group are produced. THe compounds produced are components of pharmaceutical compositions effective in antibacterial and antitumour therapy. 14 claims</p> |
