PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin article covered with a cross-linked film having a thin thickness excellent in abrasion resistance, and having each property such as transparency, heat resistance and durability in good balance, and hardly having warpage by allowing the article to have a specific hardened film. SOLUTION: This thin article has a hardened film having <=3 μm thickness. The hardened film is obtained by coating a light-sensitive coating material composition on a substrate, volatilizing an organic solvent, and irradiating a light energy to polymerize and harden the composition. The light-sensitive coating material composition comprises 100 pts.wt. total of (A) 10-70 wt.% light-hardenable silicone obtained by hydrolyzing 100 pts.wt. total of 40-90 pts.wt. colloidal silica fine particles (expressed in terms of the solid) and 10-60 pts.wt. monomer of the formula [X is vinyloxy or the like; R1 is a 0-8C alkyl; R2 and R3 are each a 1-8C alkyl; (a) is 1-3; (b) is 0-2; with the proviso that (a)+(b) is 1-3] (expressed in terms of the solid) and carrying out a condensation reaction thereof, and (B) 30-90 wt.% monomer having one or more (meth)acrylnyloxy group in one molecule, and (C) 0.01-10 pts.wt. photopolymerization initiator and (D) 30-2,000 pts.wt. organic solvent. |
