PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten moving stroke at changing a tool to shorten a tool changing time by mounting a tool changing means between the inside of a rotary housing and a spindle stock. SOLUTION: An elevatable rotary base is rotated by 90 deg. by operating the actuator 512 of a tool changing means 5 to be longitudinally positioned, and a standby arbor 100 and an arbor 100 combined with a spindle stock are received with a lock groove formed on the end part of an arm. Hereafter, a drive motor 511 is operated to bring down the elevatable rotary base, and the arbors 100 received with the rotary arm right and left are detached from an arbor fixing part and the spindle stock. Then after rotating the rotary arm by 90 deg. by the actuator 512, when the drive motor 511 is operated to elevate the elevatable rotary base, the standby arbor 100 is combined with the spindle stock and the arbor 100 combined with the spindle stock is combined with the arbor fixing part in a standby state. |
