PERFORATING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perforating unit wherein the inside of a die is not clogged with punched slugs and moreover the strength of the die is improved more than that of a conventional one. SOLUTION: This unit is provided with a die 10 in both the ends of which work holding surfaces 12a are provided and wherein a hole penetrating the die over between the work holding surfaces is provided, a core 20 which is movable in the direction of the axial center of the hole 13 of the die 10 and moreover which is inserted into the hole 13 of the die so as to project from the work holding surfaces 12a of the die 10, and punches 30 which respectively face both the ends of the core 20 and which are respectively driven so as to advance and retreat into and from the hole.
