PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for fishing floatable in a stable state even at sites with rough wave or rapid tidal current or the like. SOLUTION: This float 2 has a spherical float body 21 and a sinker 22 located near the center of the float body 21, wherein the float body 21 is a solid element made of synthetic resin such as expanded polyurethane, the surface of the body 21 is variously patterned with a fluorescent paint or the like so as to be easily seen even from a distance, whereas, the sinker 22 is made of e.g. lead, tungsten. Furthermore, this float 2 is provided with a radially penetrated hole 23 threaded with a fishling L.
