PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal working oil composition excellent in stability in compounding by including an ester of a hydroxy fatty acid polycondensate with a fatty acid or a salt (A) of the ester with an alkanolamine (B) and an oiliness agent (C) comprising a fatty acid, a dimer acid, or a dibasic acid. SOLUTION: In component A, the hydroxy fatty acid is ricinoleic acid, for example, and the polycondensate can be readily obtained by dehydratively condensing a hydroxy fatty acid. Its degree of condensation is desirably 2-10. The fatty acid which is reacted with the polycondensate is caplylic acid, for example. Component B is monoethanolamine, for example. In component C, the fatty acid is caproic acid, for example, the dimer acid is linderic acid, for example, and the dibasic acid is glutaric acid, for example. The mixing ratio among components A to C is (0.1-20)/(0.1-20)/(0.1-20) by wt.%. |
