PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room structure, in which the inside of a house can be partitioned in conformity with application and which has a screen capable of sufficiently taking in daylighting from a partitioned adjoining room in a manner that the screen can be opened and closed. SOLUTION: A lower rail 14 is installed to a floor material 15 in a house while an upper rail 16 is mounted on a ceiling material 17 at a place just above the lower rail 14. A screen 1 consisting of a frame body 2, etc., having a semitransparent board 11 is disposed slidably between the lower rail 14 and the upper rail 16, the inside of the house is partitioned in a manner that the inside of the house can be opened and closed by sliding the screen 1, and daylighting is carried out under the state, in which the inside of the house is closed by the screen 1.
