PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a storage bag self-supportably when it is used and improve storing-job efficiency and to fold it compactly when it is not used and improve carrying efficiency, by fastening spring members which exert shape-retention force to each external side face of a bag main body between the upper edges and lower edges of the bag main body. SOLUTION: Between corners on each upper edge 1a and each lower edge 1b of a bag main body 1, a pair of spring members 5 and 6, upper and lower, for exerting outward shape-retention force to each side face of the bag main body 1, are provided in opposite directions to each other. Both ends 5a and 6a of the spring members 5 and 6, respectively are fitted and fixed in spring- fixing rings 7 and 8, respectively, and the butted middles of the spring members 5 and 6 are fixed with connecting rings 4. When used, the bag body 1 is three- dimensionally held and supported by itself as a whole, by simply spreading it three-dimensionally. When not used, it can be folded compactly, first by folding the self-supported storage bag flat so that one of pairs of diagonals of it are superimposed, then by folding it in half laterally along a vertical edge in the middle, and further by folding it in half longitudinally.
