PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely movable air cleaner which is a stand type and is not a hindrance and also has a large dust collecting/cleaning capacity. SOLUTION: In the stand type air cleaner A which facilitates the sucking/ cleaning of contaminated air by generating a turning stream (f) heading toward the center of an intake port 5 by providing an intake port 5 at a main body easing 4, and also projectingly providing plural air blowing parts 7 in the vicinity of the intake port 5. and forming a belt-shaped air curtain 8 by blowing air from the air blowing parts 7, the projection length L of each air blowing part is set so that the area S of the belt-shaped air curtain 8 formed by each air blowing part 7 is smaller than that of the intake port 5.
