<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a sensitivity to an infrared laser and a storage stability under a highly humid environment by a method wherein this material includes a specified molecular weight or more of a phenolic polymer with a polymer main chain, which has a consituent unit represented by a specified consitutional formula and, at the same time, includes an infrared absorber. SOLUTION: This material includes a phenolic polymer, the polymer main chain of which has a consitutent unit represented by the formula I and the molecular weight of which is 1,000 or more, and, at the same time an infrared absorber. In the formula I, Ar1 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring, R1 and R2 represent a hydrogen atom or a 12C or less hydrocarbon group, (n) represents the integers 1 through 3, (r) represents an arbitrary integer in response to the molecular weight, X represents a bivalent connection group, Y represents a bivalent or quadrivalent connection group having a partial structure selected from Y1 in the formula II or a terminal group and Z represents a connection group or a terminal group. By employing the above- mentioned phenolic polymer as a binding polymer material, phenolic hydroxyl groups adjacent to a functional group strongly react with each other in a binder, resulting in enhancing the film density of a photosensitive film.</p> |
