PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorter for bottles capable of conducting branching work without using a switching lever. SOLUTION: This sorter is constituted of a conveyer 1 conveying bottles B placed on it, a pusher 3 disposed in parallel to the conveyer 1 and moving at the same speed as the conveyer 1, and a guide plate 11 having a groove 12a in the conveying direction and a groove 12b in the branching direction of grooves 12 (12a, 12b) engaging with the pusher 3, so that the bottles B delivered in a line synchronously with the pusher 3 are distributed into a plurality of lines by branching the movement of the pusher 3. Of the grooves 12 (12a, 12b) of the guide plate 11, the one in the branching direction is deep and the one in the conveying direction is shallow at the branching point. The pusher 3 is formed out of the ones engaging with the grooves 12 (12a, 12b) in a shallow condition and a deep condition.
