摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carotid wave detector capable of stably detecting carotid waves. SOLUTION: When this carotid wave detector 10 is mounted to the neck of an organism, a fixed sensor 56 fixed to a housing 29 pressurizes the neck of the living body by elastic restoration force to be in the diameter reduction direction of a clamping device 12, two movable sensors 58 positioned on both sides of the fixed sensor 56 also pressurize the neck of the organism further since the two movable sensors 58 are energized in the pressurization direction of the fixed sensor 56 and thus, a pressurization state is stabilized. Also, for the mounting position of the carotid wave detector 10, since the vibration component AC1 of pulse waves detected by the fixed sensor 56 and the vibration components ACa and ACb of the pulse waves detected by the movable sensors 58 are compared in an arithmetic control circuit 114, the mounting position of the carotid wave detector 10 is decided at a position where the vibration component AC1 of the pulse waves detected by the fixed sensor 56 becomes larger than the vibration components ACa and ACb of the pulse waves detected by the movable sensor 58. That is, the fixed sensor 56 is accurately localized at the upper part of the carotid artery.
