PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating storage device ensuring the safety of operation while making most of a vertically switching storage function. SOLUTION: One of vertically arranged storage parts 2, 3 is elevated by horizontal movement and rotating action, while the other is vertically elevated at the same time to vertically switch the arrangement of the respective storage parts 2, 3. A load cushioning means comprising lever mechanism 19 and a damper device 20 is interlocked with the storage part put in vertical elevating action, and partial load generated by the load difference between the respective storage parts is cushioned by the action of damping force to attain safe operation.
