PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky-type tea-picking machine capable of easily and quickly conveying raw tea leaves from a leaf-receiving container to e.g. a carrying vehicle without the aid of man power. SOLUTION: This machine comprises: a square pipe 8 vertically engaged in a freely sliding manner with a vertical guide section 7 mounted on the rear part of a gate-shaped frame 1; a clipper cutter 5 and the base section of a link mechanism 11 for reverse of movement fixed on the under section and upper section of the square pipe 8 respectively; a leaf receiving container 12 whose one end is pivotally connected to one end of the horizontal section of a T-shaped link 21 of the link mechanism 11; a stopper on the container 12 is supported by the other end of the horizontal section; a mover cylinder 31 for moving the container 12 from a leaf-receiving position to a leaf-discharging position; and a turnover cylinder 32 for turning over the leaf-receiving container 12.
