PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove efficiently not only dust odors, suspended bacteria, volatile organic compounds(VOC) and the like in interior air but also aldehydes, VOC decomposition products newly produced by a photooxidative catalyst. SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 holds, in its case 4 with an inlet 2 and an outlet 3, at least a photooxidative catalyst carrier 7, an ultraviolet source 8 for radiating ultraviolet rays, and a blower fan 9. An aldehyde remover carrier 10 is placed downstream from the photooxidative catalyst carrier 7 and ultraviolet source 8. |
