PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cupra fiber containing a glucose-treated tourmaline, capable of providing activating activities to a biological cell by homogeneously dispersing the tourmaline and ceramics or fine particles of a mineral in a spinning dope containing a copper ammonia complex of a cellulose, spinning the obtained dope to provide a fiber, and subjecting the obtained fiber to a glucose treatment. SOLUTION: This cupra fiber containing a glucose-treated tourmaline is obtained by adding tourmaline fine particles of an electret material capable of releasing active electrons, and fine particles of ceramics and a mineral for enhancing the electret properties, each having <=1.0μm particle diameters and <=0.5μm average particle diameter, e.g. a mixture of fachsite, to a spinning dope containing a copper ammonia complex of cellulose so as to be 0.01-3 wt.%, and homogeneously dispersing the tourmaline fine particles, etc., therein, subjecting the obtained dope to a wet spinning to provide a cupra fiber containing the tourmaline, etc., treating the obtained cupra fiber with an aqueous solution containing 0.01-1 wt.% glucose within a temperature range of a normal temperature to 80 deg.C, preferably 30-70 deg.C for 10-60 min. |
