PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wrap a used sock around a foot-shaped base and wipe window glass or the like that cannot be wiped with a mop by applying a sponge or a rubber plate to the bottom of the base, assembling a handle that moves back and forth and right and left to the ankle of the base and attaching a bar to the lower portion of the handle. SOLUTION: A sponge or a rubber plate 5 is applied to the bottom of a foot-shaped base. The angle 4 of the foot-shaped base 1 is cut away to suit it to the tip 7 of a handle 2 and a fitting portion 6 to which the handle 2 is fitted, is provided. In addition, a hole 8 is provided to assemble the handle 2 to the notch 6 of the ankle 4 at the right angle. The foot-shaped base 1 and the handle 2 are assembled by passing a pin through the hole 8, and the ankle 4 is rotatable. When it is to be used, a used sock is worn on the foot-shaped base 1, the ankle of the used sock is hooked onto the bar 3 mounted on the lower portion of the handle 2, and the used sock is mounted on a cleaner. After that, cleaning is performed by holding the handle 2, pressing bottom of the foot-shaped base 1 against the surface to be cleaned of window glass or the like, and butting the used sock against the surface to be cleaned.
