PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle capable of easily transported in a compact state by housing a front wheel in a frame. SOLUTION: In this bicycle, a detachable front wheel 35 is provided on fronts fork 44, and a holding means 36 for rotatably holding the front wheel 35 detached to the position behind the normal front wheel attaching position and also ahead a rear wheel 39 in the ground contact state in transporting is provided on a frame 30. The frame 30 is provided with a head tube 31 to which a handle 43 is to be attached, a vertical pipe 32 to which a saddle 42 is to be attached, and two approximately parallel lower pipes 34 for connecting the head tube 31 and the vertical pipe 32 to each other. The holding means 36 is provided in the approximately central part of two lower pipes 34, a front wheel hub 37 of the front wheel 35 is fitted to the holding means 36, and the front wheel 35 is pinched between two lower pipes 34.
