PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To entirely clean a dehydration screen formed in an inner cylinder. SOLUTION: This dehydrator is provided with: an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2, placed concentrically with each other; a dehydration screw 4 placed in an annular space 3 between the inner and outer cylinders 1 and 2; and a cleaning screw 5 placed inside the inner cylinder 1. In the dehydrator, by rotationally driving the dehydration screw 4, a material M to be dehydrated, which is charged from a charge port 12 placed on the side of the rear end of the outer cylinder 2 into the annular space 3, is subjected to pressure dehydration and water separated from the material M by the pressure dehydration is discharged to the outside of the dehydrator through dehydration screens 8 and 9 formed in the bodies of the inner and outer cylinders 1 and 2 respectively and also, the dehydrated material M is discharged to the outside through a discharge port 13 placed on the side of the front end of the outer cylinder 2. Further, the dehydrator is provided with a driving motor 36 for rotationally driving the inner cylinder 1 through a gear section 24 and a pinion 35.
