PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary brush capable of having high polishing force, reducing the breakage of wires and viewing a polished surface therethrough during polishing work. SOLUTION: For a rotary brush, a number of wires 4 are hooked at their middle portions on a ring 3 held between two annular bodies 1, 2, two annular bodies including the ring are firmly caulked at their central portions with a caulking tube 11, and the wires are radially protruded at both ends from between the annular bodies to form a brushing part 10. The number of wires 4 are aligned in numbers to radially arrange bunches of wires 5 at spaces on the outer periphery of the annular bodies 1, 2 and the bunches of wires adjacent to one another in the peripheral direction are alternately inclined to the annular bodies 1, 2 in opposite directions for wider-range polishing to form a protecting layer 8 formed of rubber or a synthetic resin on the outer peripheries of bunches of wires 4.
