PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of a cut end part of a blank wherein burrs of the cut end part of the blank sheared into a prescribed shape are easily removed by press working and press working efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: A product part 4 and a discarding part 5 which extends in a thin wall shape from the peripheral edge of the product part 4 are formed by compressing both upper and rear surfaces or one surface of the cut end part of the blank 1 with a press, and simultaneously a round C is formed in the corner of the peripheral edge of the product part 4. Next, the discarding part 5 is punched and cut off. Thus, the generation of dust in burr removing work or the like owing to cutting work is prevented, and work is executed under a good environment. After the cutting process, progressive bending process and drawing process are continuously executed, and the productivity of press working is improved.
