PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently purify water to be treated and to effectively utilize oxygen formed by the reduction of ozone. SOLUTION: The treatment using this equipment comprises: releasing ozone 7 supplied from an ozone generation means 8, through an ozone aeration pipe 20 placed at the inner bottom of a treatment vessel main body 18 into a liquid 17 to be purified, in a closed space surrounded by the treatment vessel main body 18, a cover 19 and a sealing member 28, to purify the liquid 17 in the presence of high concn. ozone 7 in the closed space; and also, transferring oxygen 5 formed by the reduction of ozone 7, due to this purification of the liquid 17, to the ozone generation means 8 to effectively utilize the oxygen 5.
