PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall board to be applied laterally which is not easily damaged at the corners on the surface side, is not conspicuous at connecting seam in joint, and gives excellence in a natural feeling, continuous feeling and soft feeling as well as its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In an exterior wall board 1 to be applied laterally for constituting a wall surface by mutually butting and jointing the end portion 11 of a substrate 10, joint grooves 21, 22 are formed on the surface 12 of the substrate 10. The joint grooves 21, 22 comprise at least two different kinds of joint width. A corner portion 13 at the surface side in the end portion 15 of the surface side of the substrate 10 is formed to a shape of curved surface.
