PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary flushing device which permits easy operation of operating buttons being operated with high frequency and relatively easy operation of other operating buttons and permits reliable reception of a remote control. SOLUTION: This sanitary flushing device is equipped with a body 1 and an operating box 5 which has operating buttons 6, 8, 9, 12 and 13 and is so provided that it can be held in and drawn out from the body 1. In a state wherein the operating box 5 is held in the body 1, the operating buttons, including the power switch button 6, which are operated with high frequency and a part 7 for receiving signals from a remote control are disposed outside the body 1, while the operating buttons 8, 9, 12 and 13 which are operated with low frequency are disposed inside the body 1.
