<p>The subject of invention is a device for the lighting of candles. The device for the lighting of candles according to the invention is intended for the ignition of wax, stearin and other wick-containing candles without the application of matches, lighters or similar ignition devices. The device for lighting wax, stearin and other kinds of candles containing wicks is characterized by an inflammable substance (3) applied to the end of the wick (2) protruding from a body (1) and by an igniter (4), preferentially in the shape of a socket, which is put over a deposit of the inflammable substance (3) and the rest of the remaining wick (2) down to the body (1). An ignition substance (5) is applied to the inner surface of the socket.</p> |
