HEALTHY BLACK TEA BEVERAGE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a healthy black tea beverage suitable for the maintenance and improvement of a health by drinking it daily. SOLUTION: This healthy black tea beverage contains >=2 fold catechin of the total catechin amount of the usual black tea, and has a main catechin content of having a high content (a ratio of contents: >=2) of (-)-epigallocatechin(EGC) and (-)-epigallocatechin gallate(EGCg) as compared with (-)-epicatechin gallate(ECg), and a protective effect for hepatopathy (a hepatic function amelioration effect).
