PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a feeling of floating in sailing, to improve a feeling of operation, and to prevent the balance of a hull from being lost caused by that an outboard engine is automatically lowered and the bow side is lifted when an engine is full opened and accelerated by accident in a state where the outboard engine is lifted to the tilt range. SOLUTION: In this hydotilt device 12 of an outboard engine, the inside of a cylinder 14 is divided by a piston 15 composed of a fixed piston 16 and a free piston 17 into upper and lower oil chambers, a gas chamber 19 for compensating for oil corresponding to flowing-in and out to the cylinder of a piston rod 18 in which the fixed piston is fixed to the tip is provided, and a manual valve 20 for opening or closing oil passages 21, 22 and 23 provided on the side of the cylinder is provided. A gas chamber is so provided as to be communicated with only an oil chamber on the piston rod side in a state where the manual valve is closed, and a relief valve 27 for releasing oil when the oil camber has specified pressure or more is provided to the oil chamber on the opposite side to the piston rod. |
