PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paper for web press for multicolor litho printing reducing the loss of the paper based on the displacement of the first printed streak right after a paster (paper joint from the printing paper roll to the next paper roll) and the streaks printed hereafter the second. SOLUTION: This paper for web press for multicolor litho printing has (P/W)<=0.05 of the degree of the paper parallelogram observed on the paper sample having the width w and length 2W collected so that the length direction is coincide with the paper making direction from the sample kept at least four hours at 20 deg.C, 65% humidity and folding twice at the center of the paper and keeping at least for 4 hours at 20 deg.C 80% humidity. P/W= (ΔW/2W)×100}/(M2-M1), ΔW: the displacement of the up and down part of the paper in the circumstance of 20 deg.C, 80% humidity,: M1 the water content in the paper at 20 deg.C 65% humidity, M2 the water content of the paper in the circumstance of 65% humidity 20 deg.C 800% humidity. |
