PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recording method employing a recording head having an Ni-PTFE eutectic plating layer on the surface of a nozzle plate in which high ejection stability and high image quality are ensured. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording method employing a recording head having an Ni-PTFE eutectic plating layer on the surface of a nozzle plate having an ink ejection opening, ink contains water, a dye dispersed or dissolved into water, a wetting agent and a surfactant and the nozzle plate has the ratio of peak intensity of wave number 1160-1140 cm-1 to wave number 1260-1240 cm-1 in the infrared spectrum of the plating layer equal to or lower than 1. |
