PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation equipment for solar radiation shielding equipment capable of easily shifting operating direction to left operation or right operation. SOLUTION: In this solar radiation shielding equipment, a solar shielding material is supported by suspension from a head box 1, one end of a plurality of lifting cords 15a to 15c suspended from the head box 1 is connected to a lower end portion of the solar radiation, other end of the lifting cords 15a to 15c is vertically suspended from one side of the head box 1, and the solar radiation shielding member is permitted to rise or fall by operating the other ends of the lifting cords 15a to 15c. In the head box 1, an operation unit 8 is supported in such a manner that the operation unit 8 can be moved in longitudinal direction in the head box 1, a guide device 16 which guides the other ends of the lifting cords 15a to 15c in any longitudinal direction of the head box 1 is provided, and the other end of lifting cords 15a to 15c is suspended downward through the guide device 16 and the operation unit 8.
