PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a garage to communicate with an indoor part through an alcove without passing through an outdoor part and to ensure heat insulation and air-tightness of the indoor part by providing the alcove adjacent to a garage provided at a corner part of a building. SOLUTION: A garage 10 storing one automobile 1 is provided at a corner part of a building B. A shutter 4 is disposed at an outer entrance 3 for the automobile to go in and out, and a doorway 5 is provided on the opposite side to dispose a single swing door 6. An alcove 20 opened to the outside on the west side is provided adjacently to the garage 10 and arranged to communicate with a housework room 8 through a single swing door 11 provided at a backdoor 9 and communicate with a living-dining room 12 through a sash 13. Heat insulating layers are disposed at a partition part between the garage 10 and an indoor side part and at a ceiling part of the garage 10. The garage 10 and the indoor side part are therefore connected to communicate with each other through the non-outdoor alcove 20, and heat insulation and air tightness of the indoor side part can be ensured. A pilotis or a balcony can be installed instead of the alcove 20.
